Normally reflective cracking in asphalt pavement are commonly occurs over the joints of underlying concrete slabs or cracks in cement bound base layers . sometime it can also caused by the expansion , contraction and bending from thermally induced movement of the substrate or other reasons .
Our Asphalt Reinforcing Fiber Mesh and Chopped Strands will interact with bitumen bound layer to improve tensile stiffness , limiting asphalt strains and development of crack.
Besides above, they also help to reduce surface rutting which are associated with low stiffness mixes, subject to slow heavy wheel loading at high temperatures .
They also can act as barrier which help prevent rain water getting into the pavement under layers .
